Getting Started
What is Timeliners?

Timeliners is Sri Lanka's creative portfolio platform for video editors and motion designers. It lets you build a beautiful portfolio, upload your projects, and get discovered by clients actively looking for creative talent.
Is it free to create an account?
+
Yes · creating an account is completely free. Your free account includes a private dashboard, the ability to upload up to 3 live projects, and full access to browse the Discover feed and Jobs board.
How do I create an account?

Click "Sign In" in the top navigation bar, then switch to the "Create Account" tab. Fill in your name, email, specialty and a password · your account is created instantly.
Can I sign back in with my password?
+
Yes. Your account is securely stored and you can sign out and sign back in from any browser using your email and password. Your profile, projects and settings are all saved and will be there when you return.
Plans & Payments
What's the difference between the plans?
+
Free: public profile, up to 3 projects, 250 MB storage, search & discovery. Pro (2,490 LKR/mo): unlimited projects, 5 GB storage, priority search ranking, verified badge, analytics & stats, social links, and a Hire Me button. You can also pay yearly (LKR 24,900/yr) to save 2 months.
How does payment work?

After choosing a plan, message us on WhatsApp. We send you our bank account details. Once you transfer the fee and send confirmation, we activate your plan within 24 hours. We only accept direct bank transfer.
Can I cancel my subscription?
+
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp at least 3 days before your renewal date and we'll cancel it. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. There are no refunds for partial months.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
+
Yes. You can upgrade at any time · the new plan activates immediately after payment. To downgrade, message us and we'll adjust at your next renewal date.
Portfolio & Projects
How do I upload a project?

Sign in, go to your Dashboard and click "Upload Project" in the sidebar. Fill in the project title, category, description, tags and cover image. Your project will be published and visible on your portfolio.
Can clients contact me directly through the platform?
+
Yes. You can add your WhatsApp number, Instagram and YouTube to your profile. When clients view your portfolio they'll see a "Hire Me" button that opens a WhatsApp chat directly with you.
Can I update my portfolio after publishing?
+
Yes. You can upload new projects, edit your profile details, change your cover image, and update your social links at any time from the Dashboard · no need to contact us.
Jobs Board
How do I post a job?
+
Job posting is available on request. Click "Post a Job" on the Jobs page and it will open a WhatsApp message to our team. Send us the role title, company name, description, type (full-time, freelance, etc.) and location. We post it within 24 hours.
How do I apply for a job?
+
Click "Apply" on any job card. This opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message to the posting company so you can introduce yourself directly. We recommend linking your Timeliners portfolio in your message.
